About Us
The GPCR-UK Network is a vibrant community of researchers dedicated to studying G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) — the most common targets of modern medicines. Our work spans a wide range of disciplines, and our members represent diverse career paths and stages. We aim to include researchers from every UK institution where GPCR research is carried out.
Our collective expertise covers computational biology, medicinal chemistry, structural biology, pharmacology, cell biology, cell signalling, tissue pharmacology, in vivo pharmacology, and physiology.
We are committed to diversity in its broadest sense and welcome GPCR researchers from all backgrounds, career stages, and sectors. The network serves as a forum to share knowledge, foster collaborations, and create mentoring opportunities. By bringing together academia, industry, and beyond, we aim to strengthen connections and accelerate innovation.
Our goal is to connect institutions across the UK—from all four corners of the country. Take a look at our Members page to see the growing list of institutions already represented in the network.
